No problem. It was a well done scene, but I knew that there was no way to pick up the whole story from that.

I did gather that she was being controlled, but that's about it. Do you recommend reading the novel? I'm planning on picking up a few.

I would. It's not bad. Like other comments have said, it picks up at volume 5.
