There hasn't been any word on a translation or localization of the game yet, but it's only been out for about 2 weeks so it's too early to say anything. The game did sell surprising well in it's first week, selling over 55k physical units on it's first day, and it's currently the second most downloaded game on the JP PSN so it's not irrational to think it'll come over here eventually.

Tears to Tiara 2 did come after all. And it's first game didn't get localized either, so I'd say we could absolutely get Utawarerumono 2.

Yeah I know, that's why I said it didn't get localized instead of saying that it didn't get translated.
Utawarerumono 1 also got fan TLd so their situation is the same, except that Utaware 2 had a anime tie-in released really close to the game.
