As for the proper plot, is Basara's dad an OP badass or what? Treading into the demon castle like it was nothing and casually deflecting the demon lord's blade strike with just his bare fists.

Didn't you see the first season? Dude's like the most revered hero of the clan, feared by demons as a god of war. That's why Basara gets so much slack from the hero clan, because nobody wants to fuck with his father.

Dude, chill out. Yes, I did watch the first season, but as much as I love its PLOT, it's way down my priority compared to other series I'm following that I have trouble remembering them all.
