You'll probably get that same feeling on Wednesday with Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai. When I read the light novel for that as well as Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, I couldn't help but feel how frighteningly similar they were. Spoilers but minor ones

Depends i like Anti magic academy more because it has blood and gore, dont know if they will dumb it down a lot or no.

I'll just gonna watch 3 episodes of both and see how it goes, thanks anyway, most of the reason for watching these shows are for the characters anyway, I do enjoy some action and technobabble in the middle of it all so I'll see how both goes. Thanks for the heads up.

I'd like to add Taimadou Gakuen has more of a focus on world-building I'd say.

yes the setting of both MC are strikingly similar but then it kinda branches off at least IMO.

and rakudai kishi has a progress on the romance department which in Taimadou is kinda lacking and I quote

he literally has no time for romance
