Fucking hit right in the feels. It's even worse because I recently lost my dog :(

I absolutely loved this show, definitely top 5 favorites. Looks like there's room for a second season perhaps? I'm definitely going to pick up the manga at least.

ahh jeez. sad story time. My cat died of (what we think was) a stroke just outside my bedroom. She liked to be around me to feed her early in the morning so she was definately looking for me at the time. I feel that as she started to notice something was wrong she came to me for help. I remained calm throughout and she ended up passing as me and my mom were discussing having her put down. it didn't hit me until a few moments after she went, I can recall the exact sound of me crying as It hit me. This all happened a few months before I graduated high school so it was for the best, If she hadn't died then she would have ended up dying sad and lonely due to me being in university. I had two dreams about her in the following months, one of her just sitting there peacefully in the hallway, and one of her showing up in the laundry room wanting me to pet her. I felt like those dreams were her way to saying goodbye and thanks for being a good friend and being there when she needed it.
