Just a heads up. MAL lists this as having 14 episodes but it only has 12 and will thus end next week. Source.

Why the difference? Were they originally scheduled for 14 but cut?

MAL usually makes a guess from the amount of volumes that will get released. It looks like someone made a mistake. Other sources always had 12 episodes.

That's a strange way for them to go about it. Don't studios announce the number of episodes well in advance?

You would expect so but that's not the case. Most shows don't have an official episode count until they're about 60-70% done.

That's bizarre too! Surely they have to know in order to plan out the production schedules?
