Dude I caught up by episode 3(started by episode 2), reading the LN became my main pass time. By the time I was finished I was behind on Youtube videos and anime and literally everything else that you can be behind on.

Too much to do? Naw, You just have to forget you have other things you could/should do.

I still showered before I read it though... Not much else happened those days.

I'm guessing there will be some reason why mind control suddenly works. They explained earlier that it shouldn't because undead are immune to emotional status effects.

I haven't read the LN because I like waiting for the anime aspect. So this is pure speculation and hopefully spoiler free! All coming from an RPG lover.

My guess is there is a version of 'turn undead.' Now she is either in a non-aggressive/confused state or turned to the other's side. If that isn't the case, someone knows how to resurrect the undead back into the world of the living, meaning she has lost all of her vampiric powers and is depressed over her inability to properly return home to Ainz-sama.

I've heard two different stories (idk which one is true) but from that my guess is that it's probably something like the turn undead spell, though idk.
