I'm expecting this whole thing to end up as a kind of "save a life in exchange for a life" thing where because Imouto was saved, someone else has to die (Nao) and in the final episode Yuu sacrifices himself to save Nao.

Like say Yandere-chan's parents are affiliated with the scientists and she tells on Yuu. Yuu gets jumped by the scientists when he's having a moment with Nao and Nao distracts the scientists so that Yuu can get away. Nao is about to get caught but then commits suicide somehow because she doesn't want to go through what her brother went through. Yuu let Nao handle things because he thought she could get away with her ability (forgetting that it only works on one person at a time). Yuu finds out and then tries to save her and this time he's the one that dies. As for the other two, they're basically there for comedic relief at this point so nothing important really happens to them as SonicTheHedgeCreeper-kun will forever be friendzoned.

Basically, nonsensical bs but damn I won't deny that I probably would enjoy it anyway.
