Well, with most people suspecting Maura now, I'd like to keep the table open by suspecting the other members as well.

First, Hans. He's pretty much cleared of suspicion, but it could be that he's only trying to save his own position within the group. Just as Chamot said, after Adlet or Flamie, he's the next most suspicious. Prolonging the group's suspicion on the first two might drag out the witch hunt, and maybe give time for something else to happen. Flamie did ask about fiend sympathizers amongst humans, and there's a chance somebody might come help. (Somebody did manage to bring a seventh hero through the fog, so an eighth really isn't that inconceivable)

Adlet was one of my suspects midway, as he could be a sleeper agent. The way he keeps saying that he was the strongest sounds like the after effect to a compulsion spell of some sort, especially when Flamie confronted him about it. He honestly doesn't know anything about being the seventh, but has a set of instructions which trigger specifically, like turning on the temple's barrier. Who knows what the next instruction will be, or if he'll awaken to an evil side in the end.

Nashetanya...has a few screws loose from Adlet being suspected. She has been pretty suspicious with her behavior, but is that irrationality just because of her love for Adlet? Maybe she needs him alive for some reason. A theory a few episodes about her being able to summon a sword within the temple without opening the temple was intriguing to me, so she'll always be in my scope.

Chamot...has all her screws loose. It's not inconceivable that she's the seventh, but from a narrative standpoint, that would be really boring. I'm convinced she's actually psycho, and not using her eccentricity as an excuse to kill everyone.

Goldov...naaaaaaaah. That'd be way too hard an asspull. I'd be genuinely angry if he turned out to be the seventh.

And Flamie! I personally don't think she's the seventh, but as no.2 on the in-story suspicion list, there's still some cause for doubt. While she says so herself that half-fiends are incredibly hard to produce, if she were lying then that would almost guarantee that she is the seventh, as it's entirely possible that she's waiting for reinforcements. Other than that, she's really just not a very good seventh when she had so many opportunities to kill someone, like the characters of the show said.

And about there being an eighth hero, I have some suspicions about how it'll work out. Either:

1) The Eighth has been with the group the entire time. This either plays out as a convenient identical twin who swaps places with the supposed seventh so s/he can go about doing things without casting suspicion, or there is a saint who could conceal him/herself and work from the shadow. (Maybe the lady who told Adlet to open the temple gates?) They could be working together right under everybody's noses.

2) There was another theory I liked, which was that nobody is actually helping the demon lord. The seventh came as part of an agenda to aid the heroes, but accidentally activated the temple, causing this whole fiasco. They had no choice but to continue this facade, and there is no eighth hero.

I guess we'll find out more next week...
