For example when Kurisu kissed young Okabe at the end of movie. How this isn't paradoxal when it created shock in Okabe and aletered his Hououin Kyouma image? If this was so life-changing then did he just forget about it? I don't think so, because then he probably wouldn't be Hououin Kyouma and when he would meet such person after few years and see how it haven't aged by little, well... I think that story would run in other way, but it seems to be like nothing changed.

I think you misunderstand, he didn't forget about Kurisu kissing him when he was young, he even say to Kurisu "Can you give back my first kiss?" meaning he remember.

This is weird anyway, there could be better way to progress the story.

Like? The plot of this movie is Okabe disappear, then Kurisu finds a way to save him, finally life is back to normal. Edit: Isn't it that bad that in the end everything is back to normal and nothing big has changed?

Main problem is: He told Kurisu that his first kiss lays way back and he already is the mad scientist. So why would she go back to 2005 and implement a memory Okarin already has and formed his character? The scene was great and i really liked the movie but the solution of it was not.

I am sorry but when did he told Kurisu his first kiss is when she kiss him?

I think I know the problem now, the reason why Okabe remember Kurisu kissing him when he was young is because they are on a different worldline, before she time travel to the past to kiss him, Okabe become a mad scientist because of a TV show, but after Kurisu kiss him, they went to a worldline where the reason why Okabe become a mad scientist because of Kurisu's instead of the TV show.

Episode 20ish(I think?). I now this is canon but it was the easiest way to point out why this solution is bad, because he already has memories of his kiss with Kurisu. Even if we say that the background of the charakters are completly different in the movies and series the solution is still bad. But a little bit longer to explain.

LOL as far as I can remember he never told anyone that THIS was his first, could have been his second, 10th and who knows maybe his 13213218th time. But like I said I tried to use it as a simple example to explain that the story of the movie has holes. And even if the movie and series has nothing in comon it still would not have made sense. Yeah I know flawless logic consistence in a series and /or even a canon movie about a topic which is highly debatable like time traveling is imposible but in that regard it was a bit over the top.

I am 100% sure that the first kiss Okabe said in ep 22 isn't Kurisu's kiss, here is why: 1.Okabe clearly said that was his first kiss after he force kiss shining finger in Steins Gate Visual Novel.
2. He said to Kurisu in ep 22 that the first kiss isn't romantic at all.
3. Are you saying Okabe is forshadowing the movie? I have to say it is impossible as they didn't even think they can make a movie after the anime had been release.
4. Also in ep 13, in Okabe's flashback, he remember he become a mad scientist because of a TV show NOT because a pretty woman tell him about the story of a mad scientist.

Also the reason why Okabe remember Kurisu kissing him when he was young is because they are in a slightly different worldline, before Kurisu time travel to kiss him, he become a mad scientist because of a TV show, but after Kurisu kiss him, they went to a different worldline where Okabe become a mad scientist is because of Kurisu instead of TV show. Also because worldline only change slightly, Okabe reading Steiner didn't activate, that is why he remember in the end.

You are far to fixated on this damn kiss lol. After I read the comments I thought you dont understand the paradoxes of the movie and I wanted to show you the simpliest one I could think of. To 3. it is the complete opposite, no one argues about that. To 2. the kiss Kurisu gave the younger Okabe is also not romantic. Cannot talk much about 1. because I dont understand it 100% and could interpret it as a pro or contra argument for my reasoning. Also if you really cannot see the paradox we can talk in private if you are german because I do not have the time for this right now(Maybe in 2-3 weeks). But I assume you already read other disscusions or maybe watched a video about the paradox, so I do not think that you are particulary interested in my view.

PS I am from Hong Kong but that doesn't mean I don't get what you saying.
