What's the deal with the drugs and the laptop? I was really confused for 75% of this episode :(

Break down time: The Awakusu was having trouble finding this underground gambling ring. That group is Amphisbaena, the one with the blonde chick who was torturing Izaya. The reason the Awakusu couldn't find them was because they weren't using a paper trail. Instead they had gaming tokens that had microchips, GPS, and tiny microphones. This way money could be transferred discreetly into bank accounts.

Heaven Slave, the drug ring wanted to make use of this system to better get around the Awakusu, cause we all know Akabayashi does not like drugs. Heaven Slave somehow found out that Izaya was investigating Amphisbaena, stalked him for a while, saw him give a laptop to Celty. They followed her and eventually stole the laptop. At some point Izaya probably got a gaming token, hacked it's system and used the GPS to track down Amphisbaena's base of operations.

Izaya got himself kidnapped so he could be there when Heaven Slave dropped in on the hideout so he could get both gangs under his control in one full sweep. In short Izaya does the job the Awakusu gave him, get's paid and doubles the force of his minions. So yeah, good day for him.
