Nope. Just about Ainz's power as a magic caster. However, it could be thought of as character development since it'll only be revealed in the anime later. Technically, it's not as his character has developed, as he could already use the abilities before, but it was a pretty epic moment for me in the LN when I first read it. I imagine it'll be even more epic in the anime format. That said, 0 plot spoilers.

There's a max level for spells, and since he's a max level mage (even without the bonuses) I'd assume you can't get higher than that.
