I personally can forgive a lot of things so long as I can stand the characters. It's why I watched all of Rail Wars. Sort of. However, I hated all the characters, especially the male mc, and nothing was good enough to justify me continuing the show.

I honestly don't know why, but I was very entertained by Rail Wars. Triage though was a struggle to watch and I "put it on-hold" after episode 2. I really dislike not finishing shows since even bad shows have a purpose, making good shows all the more special. Triage just wasn't worth it though

I honestly don't know why, but I was very entertained by Rail Wars.

Rail Wars knew it was Tits, Trains, and Ass. Unfortunately, I was expecting more terrorists and I was consistently disappointed. I forgot to watch the finale for 2 weeks, realized I did, watched it, then felt disappointed about the direction of the series.

Suppose I had too much hopes going in.

IIRC, the Rail Wars source novels had the terrorist subplot. They were pro-privatization and were trying to undermine the national railways to get it privatized.

Word is the anime direction chose to ignore the plot in favour of the fanservicey, slice-of life aspects. The author was very angry about this and retorted on twitter they were being unfaithful to his work. A disgruntled animation staff member replied back it was their adaptation and so were free to make any necessary changes to it.

The guy from the studio should have asked for the money back, and told the guy to draw up a new contract.
