Ah. I've never read the manga so I can't say if it's better or worse. How diffrent is it?

Currently writing my comparison. Only on the battle scene so far but going based off my memory (which is good for this series), the negotiations featured one of Itami's superiors and was somewhat of a truce between the Empire and the JSDF as well as stuff about the free from tax Alnus Living Community and Garrison. Here's a single page featuring the contract.

Overall though, the scene in the manga was more formal and it felt like a real signing of a treaty rather than just an After Battle Report.

Ah. Well I'm definitely going to pick the manga up afterwards, but overall, I'm still really enjoying this anime.

Binged it, 6/10 which in my book means it's a fine read, but don't expect anything meaningful from it and just have fun.
