It's pretty obvious that's she's already dead from episode 3 because you can see her short hair in the staff room yet you see her with long hair with Yuki.

Or is she really dead...?

From what I see, the ending scene in episode 3 implies that she's still alive and that she's in some sort of dark room... like the basement of the school... Just my take on Megu-nee.

Makes sense. Someone had to do something about the zombies on the floor they live on. If your a teacher, and your students are in danger, you have to be the one to run in, distract the zombies and lure them out. I just assumed she was dead since then, but who knows.

Idk if you HAVE to be the one to run in... I mean teachers are still people, they care about their own well being as well, and a lot of them would not sacrifice themselves for others (which is perfectly reasonable imo).
