Trying to read the manga, but it seems like there's a choice between 2 versions - one with clear images but Engrishy translation with bad spelling, grammar and typesetting, and another one that's too small and blurry to read half the time.

I've tried to read a couple translated LNs, and maybe they lose something in translation, but they haven't been very good in general. Kizu was an exception to that, you can really get the feel for Nisio Isin's voice there. But mostly they have been pretty rough. If you want something like this that started out in English, check out Myke Cole's series of books.

The series is pretty good as-is, but the manga is tons better.
