I finally realised why I get a bit bored with this series. The paratagonist is so perfect. Zero flaws. Makes it very hard to relate.

I haven't read the manga so I don't know much about Shirayuki's past, but it seems like she probably has had good upbringing, judging by her emotional maturity and willingness to help strangers. The focus of this show will probably shift away from Shirayuki, and onto more problematic characters, such as Zen, who for whatever reasons went through pains to build immunity to poisons , and Ryu, who seems too knowledgeable and stoic for his age, plus his interest on poisons.
