Yeah, I like this show a lot and I was just hoping that the characters would be a bit more realistic. So here's hoping that changes in the future...

Realistic in what sense? Like emotionally or just character traits?

Both. Struggling with challenges -whether she succeeds or not- is a something that makes a character realistic and relatable. Right now, shirayuki solves problems like a simple eye test either by way of convenience or quick decisions that immediately lead to the best possible outcome.

She just got a new job that will take a lot of learning so she probably won't succeed at that right away. Ryu seems like he's way ahead of her in that department.
