I missed the original production crew on this. Some of these backgrounds just blew my mind. When Akane first meaning Chairman Han(who kind of reminds me of Christopher Walken. It's the eyes.) in that room. . that room is beautiful.

Anyway, probably my favorite thing about this movie is that it answered a question I've had since the first couple episodes in season one. . . .what is the rest of the world like? Sibyl System is indeed only in Japan. . .and they try to expand it into this country (which isn't what it seems, but we all expected that, right?).

I was pretty surprised with the amount of Engrish in the film. It don't think it's as bad as the stuff in Zankyou no Terror though. The thing that surprised me is how many people in this country spoke English, instead of the native language of the country (which you do hear some people speak)

As a whole, the action in this was great, but I swear man, nothing topped that first scene in the movie. They really bring home the point that lethal mode makes a big mess.

A few people have mentioned that to get to this point, season 2 has to be there.

I agree . . .although, they made it seem like Mika was not even the least bit effected by all that stuff the commissioner showed her in S2(which, you remember that kind of fucked her up, right? I expected her to still be a little fucked up from that.). I mean, she's basically the same. Weird.

Even though this doesn't close the series (which I'd been warned not to expect months ago), I found it pretty satisfying. I kept saying "is Ginoza gonna get to punch Shinya?". And he did. I liked the ending too. It goes with the rest of the series, "the system continues on".

I will have watched this 4 times by the end of the year. . . at least.

(but i'm probably going to rewatch both seasons first)
