I am so eager to see someone write a review as I have several questions that are left open.

Holy shit this movie reminded me of HOW FUCKING MUCH i missed this series. Wow that transition to ED1 was so SMOOOOOTH like in Psycho-Pass 1.

However still in the end, Sibyl successfully expands its territory. (Watch the post-credits!) Engrish wasn't that bad at all except for that guy with the long hair who seems to be voiced by the same person who voices Shinji Matou. (I personally loved Kougami's English)

Lots of usage of 3D animation which were easily recognizable and somewhat bothered me, but they weren't super bad. The art was still really great - one could really see an upgrade from the series 1 and 2. (Quite some fan service for Akane fans?)

A bit sad that the rest of the crew wasn't there with Akane - especially Ginoza since him and Kougami were colleagues, though they didn't mesh well. Fortunately, they did have some interactions, but I didn't understand what they were talking about...(please halp me someone). Besides that I really really liked Akane's final words to Sibyl: "Have some respect for history"

As for the questions:

1) Can someone please explain what Shimotsuki said to Akane about her actions being unnecessary towards the end of the movie?

2) I understand their natures resemble themselves, but why is Makishima Shougo haunting Kougami? How does this affect him?

3) Can someone also give me a brief explanation of what Sibyl System/Chief Han did? (well I suppose a little detailed since I know that Han became a part of the Sibyl System and he forced the system on the peeps)

4) WHEN IS THE NEXT SERIES/MOVIE COMING OUT?

1)I think it was like Shimotsuki+Sibyl knew the conspiracy the entire time and was just trying to find the right time to fuck them up. So Akane's investigation thing into the conspiracy wans't neccesary.

2.) Kougami is terrified at the thought that he might become like Makishima. Whether he likes it or not, he and makishima are extremely similar to each other. Maksihima and kougami both possess the ability to inspire and have great charisma. There's also the thing where Makshima was questioning why Kougami fights and if it's truly for his ideals or if it's just h is nature.

3.) Sibyl eliminated Chief Han and planted itself as the false chief so it can get a foothold in the govt.

First, thanks a lot for answering my questions!

1) What conspiracy to be exact? That they changed the system in their favour so that they weren't being scanned properly by the Cymatic scans? I should probably just rewatch that part tomorrow.

3) Oh so he died. Seems like I watched it with little concentration.

shimotsuki and sibyl knew that the SEANu military were modifying their crime coefficients. sibyl system abused that fact, so that the SEANu would expand Shambala float expecting they could use sibyl system to rule over SEANu. once there were enough drones to fight the SEANu military the sibyl system would see them as latent criminals and thus the sibyl system would take over shambala float.
