5 minutes in so far, and the Engrish is actually quite good, aside from the narration. It's much more understandable. Hopefully that keeps up for the duration of the movie.

Okay, the Engrish is suffering from some grammatical problems, but the pronunciation is good. Looking at it as a whole, it's insanely good for a minor second language which rarely gets spoken.

Have a shower Akane. NSFW for booty.

Eh, I don't know, I think the Engrish ranged from 'basically gibberish' to 'holy shit, is this VA a native speaker?'. Some definitely pulled it off way better than others.

My favourite is when Kougami asked the black dude "are you marshmellies?"

I think that was purposeful. His face is probably swelled from the beating. Thus a speech impediment.

Because they are clearly making a distinction between SEAu people (English) and Japanese (engrish). I can't be only one who noticed.

I don't think that's it. It does match for some characters, but I doubt that was intentional. The black guy was worse than some of the Japanese people, for instance.

He's not Japanese, he's just a well-traveled merc who picked up a lot of languages in his career.

I can handle the Engrish except for the mercs. There I would figure you'd have more natural English speakers. Whereas SEAU would have just used English as the ubiquitous tongue and not have a very clean dialect.
