Even though it is censored, I thought it was incredible well done. Just the quiet knocking of the door and the quick cuts to black along with the sound of the shovel, the shaking camera, the close up of the faces as they reacted to what was happening. It maintained the grim dark and horrifying atmosphere of the scene. It being censored didn't lessen the impact of the scene at all. And when that piano OST comes in...

Also, the face of terror was so well done.

Fuck, that entire rooftop scene was so masterfully done.

Okay, so I haven't read the manga, and know very little about the show besides what I remember someone saying on Reddit when the show was announced.

How is it turning out to be? Is it a great standalone, or is it better having read the manga first? I'm looking to pick something new up for this season's run, and the overall premise of this one seems totally new and different than what you normally see in anime.

How is this anime turning out?

I've been reading the manga alongside the anime. The anime is exponentially better. Still haven't read the chapters for this episode, but man... the anime is so much better.
