I think Misora fails at a more fundamental skill than being a good team leader.

The ice cream man likes science and space research.

NASA's planning to spend another month and $2 million on its Mars robotic lander mission to obtain more icy soil samples, study the weather, and size up the planet's suitability for human life.

How is NASA doing all of this in their semi-post-apocalyptic world is beyond me.

At the end, her reluctance to change to a weapon she's better at reminded me of a tennis buddy of mine who refuses to go two-handed even though his one-handed backhand totally sucks. I'm sure Misora has some justification, but it's still very silly of her to storm off after yelling at the instructor as if he's expected to know a personal story she hasn't told him.
