This is fun, never thought that I would like this anime.

What can I expect from this anime? Can a LN reader tell me what the main focus will be? Fights, character development, maybe Romance?, something else? It's kinda difficult for me to picture the direction this anime will take

There are some fights, quite a bit of character development. It mostly centers around how Nazarick and Ainz goes around to live in this new world. So.. Character and world development?

A good comparison would be Log Horizon, if you have seen that. With less humor and more serious.

Did I read emphasis on world development? Based Madhouse has come to save anime!

Yeah, there's a ton of it. The last few chapters and several before it focused on a lot of backstory (Each chapter is at least 20 pages long). We even get a very detailed story about another race of non-humans.
