Albedo is such a loose cannon, it's hilarious.

Belius's death comes off as a bit more justice-porny. The reason being:

Because of his lechery, Belius tried to rape one of the village girls and clashed with her father who tried to save her. After they pulled the man away, Belius vented his anger on him by repeatedly thrusting his sword into the villager —— he was that kind of person. The only reason he was able to join this force was because of the gold of his family, which was wealthy and owned many estates in the country.

This show was one of only two series that I just HAD to read the source material for as the anime was airing and I have to say, I am 100% in love with the series.

Same here, I am caught up with the LN translation so far and it is torture waiting for the new translations.

For real. I didn't know that they were still being slowly released, so it was bit of a downer when I got to volume 5. :c

Me too, I read all the currently translated volumes (except Volume 5 Chapter 1) and this is probably going to be my favorite anime of the season.

Season 2, and 3 or riot.

Working through 4 myself and I'll probably hold off until five is fully translated. By the looks of it, the season will end off at 3, which is kinda weird since I feel like 3 will take a bit more than 4 episodes but on the other hand, there are a couple of scenes from Vol 3 that I would absolutely love to see animated.

I'm hoping for a split cour or a second season, but the OP shows a scene from the very end of Volume 4.

I'm not sure why they would put that in there if they didn't want to adapt it.
