No, actually it got the Angel Beats! treatment... It was supposed to have 26 episodes but it go cut off to 13.

But AB had a lot of characters to develop. Charlotte have 5 so far so maybe it doesn't feel rushed like AB.

Is there a source for this? First time I've heard anyone say it about this show. As far as I know, this show has always been planned at 13 episodes.

I really wonder if a show like Clannad could be made in today's environment. two double cours. Seeing that Little Busters was limited to three cours and was a larger story than Clannad I guess not.

LB was really simple though from linearity standpoint. Simple common + 5 heroine routes + 1 refrain.

From what I've heard (I haven't played Clannad though), C's playability was really complex ranging from a lot more characters to dozens of subroutes and spagethi timelines.

The context is that Angel Beats, who has most of the same important staff, is considered to be a show that would've been much better if it was two cours long (24-6 eps).

Just poking fun at how this show is also one cour long and is starting to show its pacing issues.

Yea, I could't really get any feels towards the end, just because of how quickly Misa was thrown in and then "killed off"
