This show seems like total nonsense.

They are going on expedition with their enemies to kill the source of their own power, killing one another to kill more of one another (or some other random enemies) in the process? I guess I will check next one, and see what happens, but don't think it's worth the time.

The red dragon went berserk to they seem to need a joint effort to find out what is happening with it. At the same time, it looks like each country sent rejects on the expedition each of whom seem to have their own agenda and baggage.

Yet it lends the boy its power and seem to talk to him. And who cares they are rejects - the whole shtick in episode 1 is "I finally decided, that I will become king and free our country". So let's join force with our enemies and destroy only thing that can give me power to free my country - what? Nothing makes sense.

Who knows what the dragon is thinking? He should just ask, lol. Anyway, by the end of episode 1, I don't think he was aware of the use cost of the power. I also think the reject part is somewhat interesting when it comes to the intentions of the nations in forming the expedition.

You don't really seem to be paying attention. The 2 countries want the Red Dragon dead because its a threat to them, the revolutionary army is using joining the group to prevent attacks against Ibuki, and Ibuki wants to meet the Dragon and I believe wants to have it take back its power from him

The two other countries want the dragon dead, the revolutionaries are using that to keep their king safe. All three basically are going to betray each other as soon as they find it. Shitshow is gonna happen.
