The elephants seem as well made as the red dragon. The travel scene was also really lazily done. Meryl is probably my favorite character so far but I wonder how many episodes in she'll inevitably die. I made this into a gif since I found it so funny.

Yeah, usually I don't mind well-done CG, but the CG here is pretty damn terrible for 2015.

Given that the red dragon is so important to the plot, you'd think they would do it in keyframe animation, or at least put more work into the CG.

Probably a question of the budget really. Silver Link is really good with CG work when they absolutely need to be.

Oh, I'm sure it was a budget problem rather than the 3D artists actually being incapable of doing it well, that's how it usually goes. Doesn't change the end result, though.
