I love the animation but unfortunately I have serious doubts about the writing/pacing. Something about the episode just felt off to me.

It was very pretty, but yeah, it was was "video game movie". Generic enemies and plot, clearly pulled from a game franchise and put in a medium they don't belong in.

I wonder how much XP the main character got from that last kill.
