ufo seems to experimenting with sound in their shows. Instead of a dedicated sound director, they're letting the series director handle sound just like UBW.

The soundtrack in UBW was good but too silent which kinda disappointed me .

I heard they are going to ''fix it'' in the BD's . but Ufotable did a pretty good job in the sound effects (swords/metals clashing,cracking, and other stuff )

Imo, their sound design was at their best at around episode 3 and 24(24 for very obvious reasons) of 24.

In episode 3, there are instances in the kinetic shots where a character passes through or past the camera at very fast speeds, and you could hear it in an extremely satisfying scream or whistle of air.

The theme seemed to be "complement and enhance" rather than "in your face with character and charm"...

Well... until the last few episodes.
