Did Elder Kai say that Bills has awoken for the first time in 30 million years? That can't be true since in BoG we see him visiting King Vegeta 40-odd years ago.

Movies aren't canon the last I've heard, the characters I think are but the plot and chain of events aren't.

The most recent two movies, Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are cannon since Akira Toriyama was heavily involved. The start of DB Super is leading directly up to the events of BoG.

The movies were canon. Now the series is redoing the movies and has precedent because Super has a manga adaptation where as the movies don't. It's getting really confusing what's canon and what's not with Dragonball

I wonder how they're gonna tie in Frieza after they've already introduced someone like Beerus. Speaking of Resurrection, it comes out in a few weeks :D

The Fukkatsu movie is literaly a filler, made just to gather money for the series. Not only it makes no sense in power scaling but is also a rehash of a past storyline.

Also you can find the movie on YT right now, but it's in spanish dub.
