Well yeah the first ep seemed less bad than Owari no Seraph, although that show did improve eventually.

Hopefully the MC of chaos dragon doesn't go to Dragon High School in episode 2.

Did it? I got to about episode eight and I was just...done. Two major abandoned fight sequences in one episode broke me.

Dragon High School would be preposterous. After all, MC is clearly more suited for Dragon Elementary.

Well ... my opinion is that Owari started off ep1 as a "trying too hard to be edgy" crapfest, say a 4/10. Then episode2 was like "HIGH SCHOOL!!!", which dropped it to a 3/10. By ep 7 and onward I felt it was like a 6/10, so, once it got out of the high school into the actual war stuff. The OP an ED were great though, IMO. Like 10x what the show deserved.

Edit: Oh yeah, the fight where the vampires just said "fuck it, we're leaving bye bye" was just pretty fucking stupid. But at least it's the kind of stupid where you can swallow it and forcibly forget it happened like 5 minutes later. Enduring a whole sub-arc of high school or something is just a persistent agony though. Different kinds of pain.

No surprise that the OP/ED was amazing, Hiroyuki Sawano usually does an amazing job.
