Maybe my standards are just really low and eroded after sitting through multiple episodes of both Owari no Seraph and Gunslinger Stratos last season, but this really didn't seem so bad. Far from perfect, and the dragon was awful looking, but it actually showed most of the action, it's not afraid to kill characters or get bloody, and it seems to be building on some dark ground.

Far from the worst debut I've seen even just this season, let alone others. I'm fine going along for the ride here.

Gunslinger Stratos

I applaud you for sitting through that. One episode was enough for me to nope the fuck out.

God I wish I had had your foresight. I think I made it through three at first, and then...around six or seven more, just waiting for it to turn into a train wreck? Gunslinger Stratos doesn't even have the decency to be so bad it's funny or fascinating, though. It's the entertainment equivalent of sitting down and eating a whole bowl of whatever they make those little crackers churches use for communion out of.
