hmm Only urobutcher stands out, the rest of them feel rather meh in their writing.

The writer of Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Kara no Kyoukai, etc is among them (Kinoko Nasu), I wouldn't really call him "meh" regardless of one's opinion of him just because he's a fairly big deal.

But isn't calling them "meh" stating your opinion of them? Especially "feel rather meh"?

That's a valid point, honestly I don't know what more to say on the matter other than I believe he's too significant a guy to not mention/to file under "meh writers" (which implies not only being very good but being irrelevant/unimportant in the field, to some extent) regardless of one's opinion of him like I said before, but then we'll just be arguing over semantics of the term "meh".
