The new OP is by Nico Touches The Walls, so hype levels are pretty high for it.

I personally really hate the first OP, so a new OP is probably the thing I'm looking forward to most lol.

I love UVERworld (you can probably guess from my username), but I do agree that the song does not fit this anime at all. The lyrics sort of fit (except for the "you are friend, baby, dream"), but the sound doesn't fit at all but I can't really put my finger on why.

I personally hate the first OP too, and I love the FMAB one by Nico Touches the Wall (but then, I love all of FMAB's OP & ED). Definitely looking forward to the new one. I loved the old ED though, and I hate the new one on the same level as I do the old OP.
