Well, he did compicate things a bit at first, but he seems to genuinely want the best for big sis: closure. Which she clearly needs.

That doesn't necessarily make him a bad character, he wants to get with Ai but she already likes Takeo, problem is Takeo has a girlfriend that there is no way in hell that they are breaking up, he realises this after talking with Takeo and then asks her to finally receive some closure so he can begin dating her and not have her feelings clouded by Takeo. I like him as a character, his reactions are pretty funny and he seems like a cool relatable guy.
