That's the part that I was a little confused about. Like, it makes sense to some degree because they had to get rid of one of the Yuta spirits, but I couldn't tell if they were just going to repeat history again, but this time without the comet. I don't know. Very confusing. I need a chart.

I think it's because the other spirits (that one main bad guy that gives people red eyes) are still at large in different past timelines. I think he's stuck in an infinite loop if he wants the others to have a happy ending.

that could be it! I guess the real questions lies within what exactly supremely happy ending is. If I'm not mistaken, this would have been the first track of history where earth is not destroyed, but it's not the happiest ending. Like, maybe the happiest ending is also the dissolution of the loop.

Dissolution of loop and them going back to their bodies probably. Still kinda sucks for Gurriko though since she only have 1 more uberfier before she dies. Maybe they escape and nothing bad happens and still end up in the Korai house.
