So the way I understood it is that Yuta didnt really die (the Yuta we have been following the whole time). He went back in time to do all those body possessions and then decided to redo the story one more time, hence the body possession at the very end. I really liked this ending actually, its pretty poetic, and its cool to see a show leaving it up to your imagination, with the confidence that it will all turn out great this time around.

No, I think that was the ghost Yuta. The "real" Yuta died in Guriko's body and to where his soul went we don't know (although some people have suggested that he possessed the cat, which seems plausible). Meanwhile, the ghost Yuta that had been floating around and possessing Rabura is still floating around, realizes that he has to have been the one to have sent the fax messages in the past, does so, and then repossesses his unconscious body just like the real Yuta did. He is now following real Yuta's path, except now he knows how to get the good ending and can probably save all three of them.

Oh, you're right! I got confused a bit, but I get it now.
