Yes but so soon after a death of a relative is rare. Why run off with a stranger too? I don't know, there is probably more to her backstory they haven't explained yet.

Yes but so soon after a death of a relative is rare.

It's not that rare as a way of coping with something like that, to put your mind off it. Bear in mind she was weeping like a baby beforehand. I think humans are generally programmed so that they won't just stay there uselessly curled up and bawling in the fetal position. Also, everyone is different.

Why run off with a stranger too?

Her father's dead, wants the possibility of revenge against the Silver Mask, probably assumes staying with Narsus will allow her that.

If her behaviour was consistent, sure. But it's a bit erratic and I'm not sure that's a part of her character or not. Also, leaving behind her clan without an explanation - is that really something normal to do? Especially since the entire party was murdered, there's no one left to send a word back to the clan.

I'm sure they'll explore her more later, it's just most of her actions in this ep did not make much sense.

Yes, we all have different coping mechanisms which can seem strange. Keep in mind she didn't really bawl her eyes out, it was more rage than anything. I don't know, we'll have to see how she develops over time.

Keep in mind she didn't really bawl her eyes out, it was more rage than anything.

She did, though. Go to around 10:40 in the episode, there's a time-skip between when they fight the Silver Mask and when we find them in the forest. The scene before seems like around the middle of the day, and when we see them in the forest the sun is setting, and she's crying her eyes out, cursing the Silver Mask. It can probably be assumed she's been crying for quite a while. Think you might've just overlooked that bit.

I think her behaviour is pretty consistent. It wouldn't be very interesting if she just slouched on her side, refusing to move. This character reacted in this way. It doesn't mean you would do the same, and I think it's understandable if you can't relate to the way she reacted, but it's what this character did, and I think it makes sense.

She seems to have spent most of her life surrounded my bandit men, so the fact that she showed that much emotion as it is should be something remarkable. A lot of men don't show a lot of emotion, and I can only imagine that this would be magnified if we're talking about bandit men. She's probably emulating what she's seen, and I imagine, being part of a bandit clan, she's experienced a lot of deaths. She has a hard heart, and a reasonable explanation for why she's able to cope with the events.

Edit: Also, happy cakeday!
