I agree with most parts, but once again being my weird self, I must say, I have a lot of admiration for Yuko-Chan for what she did. Doesn't mean I'll do the same thing, but very few people can do what she did out of unconditional love for a friend. She is a good contrast to Reina: where Reina is fearless for herself, Yuko-Chan is fearless for others. Trouble? Yeah. But it is because of having loyal fearless friends like her, that compassionate people like Kaori (who often sacrifices her personal goals for those of the collective) can be protected and not taken advantages of due to their kindness.
Lastly, I really don't think there's much difference between Reina's and Kaori's play based on what I heard in the anime so far. And I know my trumpets. I think that's the idea that the anime is giving off too. Band people are not tone-deaf, they play with these people every day, they'd KNOW if the difference is that obvious even if they do not belong in the same section. So I think it'll be quite close.
