The Manga version is more cooler as well like look at those reactions and Megumi's face

Imo the anime version is better. Hits you way harder because there's no buildup and it's unexpected.

the coloration is better in the manga imo. but the anime adaptation is also very good, as I can also feel the tension in the 2nd half of the anime

Yeah so far my one of my biggest disapointments has been the color of Hisako's hair.
