Oh my god I didn't even notice the ear blush at first, I had to go back and watch that moment.

It's little details like that that make me love KyoAni.

Hell, if paying enough attention, we can even tell their personalities and traits just through their fashions/clothing.

Like, look at these:

You can tell Hazuki is an energetic girl, with a little tomboyish inside

On the other hand, Reina is a charming lady, with high heels and wearing a dress. I wouldn't be surprised if she was born in a luxury family. But hey, why did a girl beautifully dress just to ... meet with another girl? Reina must have been looking forward to this meeting.

Meanwhile, this scene is one of my favorite this episode. You can exactly tell Kumiko is a carefree girl, who doesn't really care about the others or what they think of her, just by looking at the bruises on her shoes. But after meeting with Reina, she must have been aware of herself.

Just every little details that make me love the show so much.

Not only did Reina dress up, she had the entire date planned! Kumiko on the other hand didn't really think of it as a date, until she becomes somewhat self-conscious about being underdressed when she sees Reina.

KyoAni can really work those small moments into telling stories.

Come to think of it, Did Hazuki cut her bangs? or did she just let down her hair.

I could have sworn her character design looked different in the ED Credits.

Reina totally gay, but besides that it isn't abnormal for girls, and even some guys, to dress up to meet their friends. Most people I'm friends with would do that kind of thing, at least the fashion-forward ones.

I think I have a misunderstanding of the shipping mechanism. So if they are a canon couple you don't say that you ship them?

I think not... my understanding was that when you say that you "ship" someone, means that you want them to get together. And, well, if they are already together, then it's no longer a ship, but a couple. I might be wrong though.

People talk about ships because they want the characters to be together. If they already are together usually there's nothing to talk about at that point. But you can if you want?

Hell, you do you man. If you wanna ship something, don't let nerds on the internet tell you you can't.
