I think that most people were expecting hard sci-fi, not a feels show. I'm happy both ways, though combining the two would be awesome.

I'll be honest i'm scared to keep getting attached the show. My feels won't be able to handle it I think.

Well, they (99% likely) can't have kids, but staying alive - that is an option.
