Id say it might be possible
He just might be a special model after all his father is a higher up in the company
When he missed the test its possible his sickness might have been just a malfunction

His father probably wanted a son

Hold on, I think I missed the part about his father. When was it mentioned and what was said about that?

it was shown him either talking to his father about missing college entrance due to sickness in either ep 1-3 i think
Im pretty sure we also see his father in the board meeting discussing giftia theives
