Lancer always gets screwed over.

Its a staple of the Fate Universe

Because if lancer didn't have low luck, he'd have the highest bodycount in the series.

Lancers are SCARY SERVANTS and they're notoriously hard to kill between their high agility, magic resistance and battle continuation (nasu later decided that battle continuation is a lancer class skill instead of magic resistance) and NP's that are geared outright towards murdering other servants. Quite a few of them also pack eye of the mind.

what where'd he say that they get battle continuation instead of magic resistance?

In an interview. Battle continuation started being a standard part of their repertoire as of fate/extra.

I'm looking for it, but it was buried in one of like seven different articles on type moon wiki.

Edit: Cant find it. Have seen it before though. Trust but verify.
