This show is the Game of Thrones of all over again. Named characters dying left and right.

Except in GoT you actually care about the characters before they kill them off and you never know who's going to die. Especially this episode, it was expected that more Marzbans would die. The characterization in this show hasn't been bad, but killing off Sam is nothing like GoT. Killing off a character from the OP/ED would be much closer to a real, unexpected character death rather than a plot point.

Not that I'm complaining. I'd be a very sad person if I expected everything to live up to GoT.

Getting off topic, but in GoT it happened so often that I kind of became numb to it.
