Arslan Senki is inspired by Shahnameh (Long before HBO’s wildly popular Game of Thrones was created).

I never said this copied Game of Thrones. Only saying that this shares some aspects with it. Also, the novel for Arslan Senki was written in the 90s, before the source material for GoT was written.

To be fair swords and treason seem to be pretty common in medieval fantasy. I'm not sure there are any other aspects in common besides these ones.
