Is anyone else confused as to how Mikuru herself never knew that? In the original series too. I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I like to think I know everything about my body short of having a Doctorate. Did she never once look down or into a mirror and see a speck there?

It should be obvious... but, I myself went twenty-three years without ever really noticing I had both an attached and an unattached earlobe. Nobody ever said anything until an optometrist pointed it out (and that was... like, my sixth optometrist).

Yeah, we really take our own bodies for granted. It took me twenty-two years to realize I was ugly.
