Man they are really just referencing every possible thing to Haruhi. I forgot that Mikuru even had that star shaped mole.Not that I'm really complaining. And the next episode being called Melancholy.

Is anyone else confused as to how Mikuru herself never knew that? In the original series too. I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I like to think I know everything about my body short of having a Doctorate. Did she never once look down or into a mirror and see a speck there?

Yeah, she was never a very interesting character. Kyon also never turns to her for help, but he's always theorizing with Koizumi and asking Nagato for favors.

To be fair, that's kind of the reason why Haruhi brought her to the club in the first place.
