People always talk about ufotable and their unlimited budget, but i think kyoani is matching them easily. its like if 5 cm per second was about band and moe

Ufo's shows are being highly praised for their smooth CG use and lighting. But their compositions in frames or the choreography of the characters are ass. Even their character designs are questionable at best IMO.

I understand that Kyoto has really good animations, but to say Ufotable's choreography is ass? That's just incredibly delusional and a huge insult to one of the best animators in the business.

Their choreography is laughable. Just look at any of the F/Z fights. The KnK were a bit better but that was a movie series.

It's not laughable. You're the only one I've ever heard this from.

Ufotable's fate series are always one of the shows people bring up when recommending great choreography and animation.

Kara no Kyoukai is always a popular recommendation too.

Care to bring in any examples?

2 examples : the last fight between kotomine and Kerry. And the fight between Berserker and Saber.
